my mates ford focus is working it self! so we done a code check on the dash code check,

the code DTC 9202 came up on the check??? .." Fuel sender open" the code stands for
(if am correct)

anyone worked with this problem before its a s-reg ford focus 1.6 16v hes told me the car drives like s**t sometimes and hunts though the revs from time to time?

also says his speedo drops to 0mph aswel... sometimes?

am a vauxhall man myself.....and fords well............

any help links or tips etc would be great thanks

If the speedo drops to 0, it may have a vehicle speed sensor which can make it cut out and run shit if its failed.

Also, if its sluggish, check that the breather pipe on the back of the inlet hasn't collapsed. They are common and will choke the engine so it will not rev free.
