iv always preached having a accident damaged car isn't a problem providing its cheap and mine was!
you can tell it was only a front end shunt witch resulted in the a/c being removed. also you can tell its had the cross member welded at some point... it hasn't really bothered me tbh.
the problem iv got is the top (slam panel) the bit the bonnet shuts onto...
just gave the car a wash, checked fluids and stated giving the bay a little rub down here and there...
thought since my bonnet has always been a bit difficult to open/shut, id try bashing that panel back out a little bit....
bad idea... now its well and truly stuck shut!
its not the cable before anyone states the obvious although it could do with a new popper/leaver
just wondered has anyone got any ideas on how to open it? is it a case of getting under and undoing the bracket/latch somehow?
any help/ideas is very appreciated

Push down more, you need to take the pressure off the latch.
If that fails you need the bumper off at the lower and side mountings and bend it up.

rite, iv smashed my grill, was fun but im not happy about it seen as iv just sold the spare one...
got behind it and bashed the shit out of the bellend shaped bit, while someone pulled the incar leaver like fcuk
got it open.... BUT
dont dare close it as its not going to open again....
i bent the bellend shaped bit the the drivers side a little as it didnt seen to meet up with the hole. shut it and had the same problem again.... but got it open again
getting soaked with the rain and losing my rag i ended up gashing my knuckles hence the blood...
thing im wondering is does this spring look rite? seems like its not in place wich i think is causing the problem...
can someone confirm this please....?
also cheers for the help so far peeps

Springs doesnt look right at all, im sure my own goes around the edge of the hole. Whereas the coil in yours doesnt look wide enough and isnt in the right place.

If you get bonnet pins i would get lockable ones, there aero catches and cost around £30. If you put them on you dont need your bonnet cable no more. Just unbolt the bit off the bonnet.

The aero catches you need to use a dremel or something to cut 2 bits out of your bonnet, as they sit inside it and have a lip piece that sits on and attaches to the bonnet. You will see what i mean when you see pictures

Search aerocatches on google images. You put them somewhere so they fit flush to the bonnet and the rod piece fan screw into the car.

yeah mate, just had a go at straitening it out and instead of being under the panel its over the panel in the same position i closed it aswell
stuck again. think im just going to leave it til these bonnet pins turn up over the next few days
if anyone's got fitting instructions for them then id be grateful for them
