Just a quick question for yall. As a cuple of you have seen on my project thread the ginger has got a few nice bits of rust here and there. Ive spent ages grinding it all down with a grinder back to bare metal. Just wondering...... Do i have to treat it not with something like k-rust or can i just go straight onto it with a anti rust primer?

I think anti-rust primer isn't the best, I've used it lots of times and the rust comes back...the primer just falls off, best to get some rust killer stuff.

if you have definatly got rid of all the corrosion then normal etch primer is fine

Well tom ive got it down to bare shiny smooth metal. That far enough??
