Gonna be buying a sportex centre section later, how hard is it to get the standard 1 off? Would i be able to do it at home, or would i have to take it to a garage? Cheers!

yeah mate, wish i had the luxury of a drive haha
jack, axle stands, 13mm socket or spanner and possibly a hammer.

i ordered one of them not to long ago, didn't even bother taking it out the packet before i sent it back though. nothing seriously wrong with it, just got hold of a stainless one for free and didn't want it

Haha i wanted a stainless steel 1, make it sound more raspy dont they? Hopefully this will sound nice though

my stainless one has a tiny silencer but sounds mint with the 4.1 mani and de-cat

heard you can lose a bit of power with them ones

ive got a straight through centre pipe on mine, did have a sportex backbox with a 3 inch tip bit my car lose so much power i put my standard backbox back on, seems the best combination to me, 4-2-1 manifold-decat-straight thru centre-std backbox

Granted mine is a 1.8 but I have a straight through centre and cheapo backbox and it ran 2bhp over standard book figure on an RR day
