I'm guessing it will be the starter motor on it's way out? This an easy job? Just finished my 2.0 8v conversion would any starter motor be alright?

Most likely starter sticking

Use a bigblock starter so any xe etc one will fit

i had same prob when doing mine i took it off filled up with wd40 and hooked it up to a batt let it spin for a good 25 seconds then repeat3 times and mine is perfect never had a prob since
