Just bought a 2001 Passat PD130. Having an issue with a "missfire" when cold, does it at both idle and while driving. No warning lights etc come up. Feels almost as though the engine is labouring, can feel it throughout the car. Once its up to 90degrees its perfect. Any suggestions?

needs a new fuel filter mate. Had this on my fabia pd130 and a new one sorted it. They tend to collapse after time.

I've already bought all the kit to give it a full service, hopefully a filter change will cure it!
