New Years came along and it was 430am and I had just gotten home from work, I was staring at the shower and wondering "Should I even bother going? It's way foggy, will anyone even show? Should I even be walking around a car show if every step 'causes me to loose my breath?!" You see my real job is working the night shift in a type of operation where I need to where a radio in order to operate with other management personnel. Well, while reaching across my back for my radio I tweaked something in my back which 'caused my new years eve to be miserable for me. Nevertheless, I sucked it up, took some naproxen and went to Cars & Coffee anyways.

When I first pulled into the spectator lot the fog was DENSE. I thought to my self "crap! Nobody is going to show!" But by the time I parked and got out of my car a stream of cars came down the road and soon there was a long line of cars waiting to go into the show lot. "HOORAY!" I proclaimed, the show was going to be good fog or no fog!

There was a mini invasion of BMW M series car, mostly M3's this weekend as well as the typical Porsche invasion. But the car that REALLY caught my eye was the 1966/67 427 Shelby Cobra CSX3243 used in the cult classic The Gumball Rally. It's not often that you see a real 427 Cobra, much less a former movie car.

I hope you guys enjoy this past weekend's shots:

Oh and a little rant:

Car show etiquette tip: If you and your car club or just some buddies "invade" a car show, don't just all hangout in front of your cars the whole time. Walk around some. Enjoy the other cars. Then when you are done stand behind your cars and stay out of the way. Some of us might have wanted to take shots of your cars but nobody would move.
Same goes for the people who bring out lawn chairs and sit right in front of their cars.
