Had my Coupe turbo sat for about 6 months now with no tax and MOT, got it started straight away of jump leads on the second turn of the key, perfect!
Left it for 15 minutes to warm up/charge up a little. Got back in it and when I press a few things (namely the brake pedal and both window switches at the same time) all the clocks dim, needles hit the bottom and the dash lights come on, then a second later they go back to normal
Left it another 5 minutes to run, turned it off, key out. Key back in, ignition on and not even a single light! Guessing battery is completely stuffed?
Then to top it off, stuck it in first and rolled it forward a bit as the brakes where a bit stiff and there is no power steering at all?
Checked under the bonnet and and the belt seems fine and the PAS pump doesn't seem to be leaking?
Just thought it's a bit suspicious as both alternator and PAS pump are on the same belt?
Any help would be much appreciated.
