Whats the best way to mask up the windows on a corsa b in prep for painting? Is it easier to take the seals out or leave them in sighs?

Are there easy to put back in as the windows are bonded in?

If you remove the seals the windows will have to be removed to refit the seals.
I made this mistake. Had to pay a window fitter to remove the windows and refit the seals I had removed for painting.
Lift the seals and stick some soft egde tape in the gap and mask the egde of the window seal.

i used to use some sort of 2" masking tape that had a plastic edge with a fold it... 3M do it.... cracking stuff for this job
