ive been reading on here about different knock sensors for the GSi 1600 and the sport 1600. my engine is a GSI x16xe and im putting into a 1400 sport , so sport loom. ive heard on here that the wiring changed slightly on the 97 onwards car espicially the knock sensor. does anyone know anything more about this?

will a early knock sensor for the GSi engine wire up to the sport loom ok?

is it not the c16's that are different? cant see them making 2 different x16 looms tbh.
