I'd have chosen a local only because you have to sign documents at some point and I'd rather get it sorted quickly face to face

They have assured me nothing will need to be done in person. although if they cock up and something needs doing face to face they are only in london so only 45 mins away :-)

I was forced to go into the solicitors at some point because I had to sign whatever it was in person. That's Scotland though so probably different.

They were shit and there was argument over the supposedly set fee. Cost a grand ish.

Distance property lawyers arent all that bad tbf.

All our conveyancing is done at distance and very little is done face to face unless clients decide to come in.
With the world of email and telegraphic transfers theres not really much face to face required, unless you need to kick up a fuss...

Glad youre sorted

Does look very nice tbh, I've been looking out that way as you get more for your money than around Rainham and you still have the c2c to get into london.

Hope everything goes smoothly
