Cheers, so will one of those obd2 connector leads off eBay will work ok? sorry if I sound like a retard just wanna make sure before I fork out for one

if you have an android phone get one out those bluetooth ones and the torque app, can do all sorts on that

I got an iPhone, was gonna do the same thing but with the wifi ones instead of Bluetooth
