Right just done a engine change on my corsa

Took old lump out swap all ancillaries and sensors etc on to the new block and head
Made sure everything connected and all pipes on tight

Went to start getting fuel and its turning over but not sparking

Checked timing its fine, have been replacing icv, camshaft and crank sensors, tps, coil pack
And still nothing

Anyone got any ideas?

Yer engine management light comes on when ignition is on but when u turn the key just turns over no spark

Got an immobilizer?


My 944 had a fault similar and turned out to be the ECU had a fault with it

Well tried new ecu and new immobiliser and still nothing haven't got a clue nothing seems to work

Are you using a matching key chip ecu and transponder?

Yer got everything from car new engine come from is there a way to remove the immobiliser

It's only going to be a standrd immobiliser error if the eml light is flashing

Hmm weird one, so getting fuel, no spark...
Coil all connected correctly?, leads on, plugs etc.
all wires connected on the engine loom to the main loom?

Whats the error code on the dash mate, any way you can read it?

Why did you use the ecu, chip and transponder from the doner car and not your own if it's the same engine?
