Having a problem with the car, drives fine etc. but cuts out, then I can't start it for a while, then it starts and runs fine again? Anyone got any ideas?

What engine?
Sounds like crank sensor, I had a similar problem on my old GSi

My little 1L, had a few people suggest crank sensor, but I was thinking may be linked to my new racetube and backbox, but iv been told that its probably just a coincidence, ordered new sensor will have to update on the car tomorrow
