Hello all, wondering if anyone could shed some light on a misfire.

Its a coilpack engine, replaced plugs, leads and coilpack still no better.

Ive read the flash codes and i make it out as 93 which i believe is hall effect sensor.

Could this cause no spark on cylinders 1+4? Any ideas as to what else could cause this problem?

Thanks in advance

There's a little flat gadget with a plug on that controls the dispack. Check that. You can get them from motor factor cheap.

First pic in this thread. It's bolted to a bit of alloy plate.

That's what I mean.

Stoneyginger- meant hall sensor wiring seems good no corrosion on multiplug

Dan- am beginning to wonder about that, the engine was missing that when I bought it and I had a bit of a job getting one, starting to think it could perhaps be the wrong one.

Another thing I've noticed is at the coil pack I have three lives the middle one is permanent live, one pulses and the other stays permanently live. In thinking that only the middle should stay live and the other two pulse?

You need to replace the ignition amplifier as stated above.

That amplifiers a right bast. Mine done it twice.

Pretty good sign its related to that when its 1+4 or 2+3 playing up together.
