On a newly built engine it's coming up with a knock sensor error and has no power. It is also very lumpy and rough running.

Just wanted to confirm I had wired it up to the correct plug. I've plugged it in to a two pin blue connector. Is this correct? It's a x16xe

Many thanks

is it torqued up correctly? they have a torque value and if its too tight or loose it doesn't register the crank properly

I don't think I've ever torqued one of them up in my life :/. Swop the plugs round and see what happens. Worse thing is it won't start haha then you know it's the sensor not the plug

Yeah I've never torqued one up either, until I had problems with mine after replacing it haha. I over tightened it accidentally torqued it up properly and worked fine after lol
