My high beams on my B either flash when i indicate on or cancel signal, or simply as im driving.

Do i need a new stalk or what will fix this?

Sounds as though the stalk isn't very rigid anymore, so when you press it up, you accidentally knock it forward/pull it back.

I guess a new stalk would fix it if that is the issue, however I am not certain.

Does it feel really easy to flash your lights or put full beam on?

The stalk is still firm and ive just heard about another car where the contacts are able to be cleaned meaning theres no need to buy new parts. Anyone done this?

Just an update on this problem. Ended up pulling apart the stalk, cleaned up all the contacts (caked with grease), put back together and its worked fine
