When its a really hot day, my car struggles to start for a couple of seconds. When it does the management light comes on, and it smells of fuel. If you go to rev it it hesitates, and when it comes down in revs you hear 'popping' from the exhaust (like backfire but not as bad). If you drive the car for about 15 mins then turn it off, then start it up again, it's fine - no ecu light or anything. I was wondering if it might be running a bit rich? It a 1.6 sport btw if that helps
