You will suck up all the dirt ont he road and fcuk your engine up. It will be nice and loud though. NOT advisable at all.

an increase in dense air will increase power to some extent in theory but in practice it wouldnt be too clever

eventually block the CAT depending on the crap which gets sucked up.

Any dust or grit can score/scratch the bores/pistons, possibly even make minute pits in the pistons if theres tiny little stones

Wear down the valves, maybe cause problems with stem seals...

list goes on...

my m8s been driving around wiv no air filter in, i keep tellin him not too, but its his funeral, i just gave up on tellin him the damage it can do

you could stick tights over, but its not gonna do shit, only stop big things like flies getting sucked in, will still royally shaft your engine

tights work just aswell as pipercross induction cones, induction kits and foam filters do not stop dust gettin in, cotton filters filter the air to a greater extent...

He didn't ask about the damage, he asked what it would do to performance.

Basically I dont think it would do much for performance because a normal cone filter can flow more than enough air.......

Its not the foam that catches the dirt, its the oil......
