In my Gsi I had a X16XE (the ecotec version) which went pop,
Will a X16XEL from and astra go in ok?? What Extra's will i need to do other than what would be needed for a straight swap??

lol
the astra engine whould fit straight in - someone off here had a conversion with one...
but they have less power (100 BHP) due to having a different inlet manifold.

Not sure but the one i bought had a hydrolic clutch on it.
Less power, but more torque produced than the X16XE at a lower rpm.
Should be a straight swap, but watch out for the ECU (need immobaliser keyfob) and that clutch.
