just dropped the missis off at home and noticed my gears feelin strange! gear stick feels very loose it goes in gear ok and isnt jumping out or runing like a bag ov shit!but when in gear you can move the gear stick back and forth and is very loose!could it be the lincage is fuked????cant see it being the box its self!

sounds lie the linkage may have come loose. Get under the car and see if it's tight.

its dark il av a look 2 moz. i think i heard sumat go clunk! didnt think it was my car at the time as it sounded like a bang in the distance!firework or sumat! gotta be the linkage! just put my for sale signs in the windows yesterday aswell!grrrrrrrr

someone i know who changed gear pretty ruff had to get his linkage replaced as the bushes were worn or something. in the end he had to lift up the bit to get it into reverse to get the car into 1st and 2nd

it had a new gearlinkage last year coz the bushes went on the old1! this feels like sumthin has come off! coz it moves around so easilty!
are linkages springed somehow ?doesnt seem to be any pull back on it!if u no what i mean.

Yeah by the shift rod internally, it will be either the bish has died again, or the connecting section has come loose, probably the later I'm guessing

dunno bout c's but on b's the lincage pins wear just replaced mine... tht shud be ya problem (or similar)
