think they are about 300 ish maybe a bit more, they do lower your insurance by bquite allot.
seen loads of stuff in the place where i got my alram done, every stolen car with a tracker has been recovered, and something like 80% are recovered in the first 2hours of it being reported.

Getting an Alarm on in January.... may look at a Tracker at a later date.
