At the moment i have 15" wheels with a 40mm drop on Pi Springs although this is great..iam looking into an upgrade on it all.
I have been looking at the Hi-Octane (H 109) or dare v2 lookalikes with a 60mm drop all round using apex suspension kit from PVD.
Now what i would like to know is:
1. what kinda troubles would i have with 17's firstly (ie offsets)
2. what arch work do you think is required with that drop.
3. Does anyone have any pics of this same setup (17's with a 60 drop)
Any help would be appreciated

alrigth mate, hows it going? yer i have heard bad things about apex, go for fk, i will tell u what fk are like when i get mine in a few days.
depend on the offsets, won't go lower than et45 then u would have proplems. you would defianatly have to de-bolt the rear arch and bend the metal lining out a bit and re-bond the arch back on, best bet is to give pvd a call they know there stuff.

no problems man, yer ok, got my toad cat 1 alarm now and just waiting for my fk 40mm kit to come.
u need a boss kit first which is about 30 pound,
if you then take of the horn cap and you will see a bolt, un screw that but dont take it off. then with ir ratchet still on the bolt, bang the ratchet with a hammer and pull the steering wheel with ur knees, bit of a mission but u can do it, if you hav vaux puller then it much easyer, but well worth it.
cheer dude

Only thing is i had to turn over dual proximity cos of the wind hehe

Thats mine at the moment lowered 60mm on 17s. Had the arches rolled (or flared, dunno what the difference is!), arch liners unbolted and then bonded on without the bolts. It still scrubs at the back going over bumps, but the front is too low to drive with the PSG combat 2 front,so im going for -35mm this weekend anyway. Hope that helps!

PS - front isnt finished, so dont say anything about the unsprayed arches! I have to fit the suspension before getting the front finished, as i have already cracked the new bumper and theres no point getting it all smoothed in if im gonna crack it again straight away!
