anybody ever had to 'straighten' their chassis - ive got a slight twist on front passenger side after a small accident and was wondering how much i can expect to pay for this - ive heard its expensive and possibly not worth the dosh to do. but id have to buy a new car anyway so why not?

they bolt the car to a big jig, and use known dimensions ( the body shop should have data on each car type) to project lasers to points where the origainal chassis should be and then twat it back into position
i think this is how its done, or maybe i just made it up
(i had a 206 that needed jigged)

When i crashed mine they had to put it on a jig, but it wasn't twisted so it was fine.

To have it put on the jig was only 1.5-2hours labour if i remember correctly. Obviously having it straightened would be more
