I bought a Sony headunit, so I removed the Kenwood one that I had before.
The connector leads are different so I went to Halfords and got the Sony connector I needed.
Everything plugged in fine but the headunit will not turn on. I dont think there is any power going to the headunit.
No fuses have blown and all wireing is correct.
It is not the headunit as I have tryed a old Sony tape player and it wont work either
Thanks

Yea mate, I put the old kenwood lead and headunit back in and that will not work either,
Is there a LIVE lead which may have become disconnected.

Sony head units have severl different ways of having the power hitched up, mine had three. This is controlled by pulling out the red wire from its bullet connector and popping it into a different one. This allows constant power, power when the engine is turned on and power when the keys are just turned one click... Read the manula though, cos mine only worked on constant power...
