just as a tester.. i removed my air box and hooked up the cold air feed direct into the pipe from the engine, but i covered the end up with 2 layers of tights first.

now i aint gunna keep it like this but do you think its safe?

I heard people use socks, much better as long as it doesn't get sucked into the inlet

K&N's are in effective without oil and their made up of many layers of gauze, so imagine ur doubled up tights......there gonna be about as much use as a chocolate fireguard
