Right my Corsa Sport strikes again

I have this little black box behind my fusebox and I have no idea wot purpose its serving? any1else got a clue wtf its doing?

o dear i thought this might have been std on a corsasport 1.6 16v, sounds like it cud potentially be an aftermarket alarm or summut based on the lack of reaction

I wish i could fella but apparently my cars is immobilising itself through either the original factory immobiliser or through an aftermarket or both, so im trying to find out whether this black box thing is actually an immobiliser that i didnt even know i had and is giving me shit!

I havent had the car started since I owned it so sadly I have to check every avenue!

99% sure its the factory alarm.
The immobiliser is in the ECU.

for future reference it is indeed the factory immobilisor! i removed it today and it had GM splashed all over it!
