i dunno
but my mondeo cetainly now has a lil problem

ideas? gets to 4 k and stops revving like a limiter then bang the power comes back

and some other times itll rev higher and not pull then bang it comes back

i think its the clutch, and partly the ecu limiting it cos it dont like being pusshed

what ya rekon

getting it up on the ramps tomorow and mebbe fitting a new p/s tank

brothers mondeo had this problem.........got ready to change cltuch etc.......and cudnt get the subframe off under wer the gearbox is...(to change clutches i usually just take gear box off completely).....all the nuts and blots wer rusted to fuck...so thought fuck it...shot everything back together......bout 2 week later the starter motor and alternator went

......so changed them......and the problem stopped

hmm starter does make a mad noise occasionly

when starting it

i kinda know the clutch mebbe sliiping when i was erm pissing about it wouldnt wheelspin itd just rev, thats when its warm but when its cold it can

i think ill fix the p/s tank as i think its boiled in the past and the cap is melted on

and ill leave it, if it blows up ill get a ew car its only a runabout for now

mondeo's are also bitches on cold mornins

am not saying it aint te cltuch.....am just saying maybe try replacing them before u take on the bvig job of the clutch........big ass subframes right under wer ya need to be......and every bolt is a fucker to get at....no room to get anything hardly in....we just a say managed to get a socket in

also av a can of wd40 with ya...

My mates mundaneo needs a new clutch but its such a big job the best quote we got was for £280, and some garages won't even touch them when it comes to the clutch.
