can it be done? if so, how? i've taken the glovebox out and trying to push it but its a no go.

On my corsa B i jus used a standard allen key to remove the 4 screws on the front and jus yanked the thing out. Then to remove the surrounding cage jus undo the screw at the back and pull that out.

i used 4 allen keys just wide enough to fit in the holes and put my fingers in the cassette hole and ripped the ugly thing out!

On my corsa c I couldnt for the life of me get my standard out...I bought the keys from Halfords the lot, had my mams boyfriend pulling them out and hes a big muscly bloke and he couldnt either! One point we even got the keys stuck in they were in that tight!

Took it down to Vaux and he pulled it out for us in literally 5 seconds! He had the same keys as us as well!

Just go to the front of the garage and ask them to pull it out for you, I did...they didnt mind doing so for me.

i'll be giving it a bash tonight liam, not literally... just get some keys and try Chris' method, if that don't work then down to Tony Levoi's for me.

I was drunk when I removed my standard headunit...


I think a hammer & a screwdriver were involved, followed by a few plasters & a brush to clean up the broken plasticy bits...

nah

easiest wa\y (done on an astra)

remove the 4 allen keys

insert the lil hook/clip/things into the holes until they 'click'

just push them down slightly & then pull, HU should come out!
