my car already has a chip, would i need to buy a new chip or could they re-programme the old one?

the limit is decided by software... a map meansmessing aorund with it and u need a different chip(no a potato) to do this.
have to think about upgrading mechanicall bits if you want to go much higher than standard

i was looking at a lexmaul ram induction unit (think thats right) - read these can be good for 20bhp gain with a few other mods.
i want to reach the 150bhp mark(one day) and looking at ways to do it

for ure engine i would say get a mantzel power box and get a unchip maped to 7500RPM limit
with that rev limit u'd want to be thinking of some arp rod bolts and some metal idler pullys
wow 6 months ago i wouldnt have had a clue what all that was

u need to chat to "greasemonkey"
his gsi is probly running close to 150BHP with about a 7800Rev LIMIT
rattling???
could just be the zorst or manifold sheild??
doubt the spark plugs wud make any noise

not saying the sparkplugs are making the noise - when i started to take things apart their was visible damage on sparkplug.
