Is it rocket science or it it easy enough to change the drivers side hub?

easy enough...

2x strut bolts
1x balljoint pinch bolt
1x trackrod end bolt
1x driveshaft nut (30mm)
2x brake caliper bolts (10mm allen key)

You might have trouble with the balljoint but apart from that peice of pish
