lads wen i hav some weight in bak of car now and i go over bump i hear a bang as tho exhaust is loose but its not that i dont think, think noise is coming rrom rear suspension or something but its not visible as i just had MOT and they saw nothing wrong! Really worried as was going to buy some -60 springs now thinkin of coilovers to hopefuly stop noise but if its not thsat then id hav wasted a lot of money to get low...

standard suspension atm??

check the rubber clamps which hold the backbox up incase there worn, also just spin the bracket round which fastens the backbox to the system.

Prob the rubber mounting brackets at the rear £1.29 each in halfords stiffen the back box up and prevents it shaking around, as worn ones can often have lots of movement therefore hit the spring and seem lik coming from the suspension!

if shocks were shagged theyl be leakin or car is very bouncy

yeah exactly that i agree mine does this some of of the time when i go over bumps etc but that cause my car lowered so lower anyway all the time yours will be doing it cause the weight of the people in the back is making the back lower

yeah i had it on me old corsa - if its an aftermarket backbox(only) it will hang slightly lower due to the weight increase(nearer the rear axle) this will also nacker the rubber brackets quicker. you may just have fat mates though
