I am having problems with my 1.4 16v corsa b when i slow down and brake my rev counter goes down to zero and the car feels like its about to stall what is wrong with it?

had the same problem with my 1.2, messed about changing the idle control valve and other bits and still couldnt get rid of the fault, good luck

could it be something to do with exhaust i know i have a few holes but saving up for powerflow full system

i wouldnt expect it, i'd try cleaning your air intake, everybody else will say this too. it seems to be a common problem, but i sold the car before it became a problem

You might find that the throttle butterfly stopper needs adjusting? Mine needed a few turns to 'open' the throttle more and that solved it - exact same prob as what you have.
