as above just strated happening now ecu light came on speedo went dead after i just put petrol in it any ideas

its a 98 sport 1.4

f18 fuse blown replaced it and it blew again

It sound s like your speedo cable has snapped is your car stalling ?

I had this problem, my car started cutting out at the lights and mis firing loads. My ecu light was goin on n off when ever it felt. The problem was a fuse. It was the same on that your cigarette lighter is connected to. How stupid

ive got a 1993 8valve sri and i thought my cable snapped the other day. when i ordered 1 and went to fit it i found that the speedo drive had seized and broke in the gearbox. lucky enuf i had 1 lying around out of a astra gte which was the same so i fitted that.
