This is wot nearly happened when i connected
my infinity amp upto a infinity crossover last night....all i smelt was smoke and here strange noises
Afder that, my kenwoo H/U was bust....now replaced.
Anyone know

sounds like a short mate  check all of the wiring and see where it has started etc

trace the power wire first, looking for any damage to the plastic, or anywhere where the wire might be pinched.
also chack connections at amp/fuse boxs etc...

at the momment the amp is running a pioneer sub....and thats ok
