Apparently my front pads have worn a bit already.. so I might get rid of the grooved rotors and bolt in cross drilled instead.
I say "I" - I'll get someone else to do it of course.
Never been a fan of drilled discs - I sit in traffic too much and they'll get hot spots and crack and I'll be left at the side of the road crying until the AA man comes

For show 20 grove or more but 6 grooves are fine for performance... Drilled discs are known to suffer from cracking (rarely) but they dont usually just fail when they crack - keep an eye on them, they will be fine and small cracks isnt the end of the world...
Std V6 discs and pads are more than enough for me in a valver...

Yup, increased surface area far outweighs any grooves/drill holes/leds that your discs might have.

You need my brake setup
6pot Tarox calipers and 290 mm cross-drilled and grooved discs. You can overbrake every BMW,MERCEDES and other pieces of crao on the road, they don't warped, and the smell of cooked pads, it's just fantastic.
Oh! And the colour of the discs change from red to blue, and they still don't warped and give up. Impressive stuff
