not like it had any anyway (1.2 8v) cars even slower on pick up now and wont do more than 70 on motorway, the engines done 135000 miles now and il be changing it soon after xmas, but need it to last till then, what are the causes of power loss? and how can i get my piece of crap goin normal?

you loosing any coolant or oil?? checked the levels??
also check the crankcase breather hose - they get clogged up & block on high-milers

theres a slight oil leak but nothin major, but i will check them, is there anything else?

check the dizzy cap & rotor arm for carbon buildup & give it a scrape if there dirty, also just check all the plugs are fine & not dirty
may be worth running some 10k boost through it - alot of people will say it does fook all but on my old 1.4i it cleared a hell of alot of crap out & did run noticeably better
oil leak should just be rocker gasket - nothing bad! its when its leaking at the cylinder head you worry
could also just be in need of an oil change!

i think its just showing its age matey - like mine but my top speed 85 now

got new wheel bearings on and now top speed back to 95MPH
