Im getting a knocking noise coming from my left drivers side wheel...?

any ideas what it could be..??

i get it when i turn, and sometimes when i hit a small bump..

Track rod end, or Cv joint, i would say the track rod ends as my first guess

although now i read it happens when ya turn it could be cv, stick it on full lock drive in a circle and listen for a clunking, if its present its the cv joint
