when the cars been left overnight and i come to start it theres a fair bit of blue smoke from the exhaust. Not like a james bond smoke screen stylee but its noticable. Also the cars a bit sluggish, again not really bad, it will happily set off from my steep driveway.

After a few minuites its fine, no smoke and revs up nice and quick.

Any ideas?

I thought smoke in the morning could be V-Stem seals, over night the oil has had time to run down the stems, so when you strike up this is instantly burnt off.

Does it burn on full load, probably not noticable in the day time.........mine does it but i can only see smoke when i have another car behind me and there lights help me point out my smoke!

Or could be blowing past the rings until they expand and take up the gap.

Shouldn't really need for them to expand though? If so it would be a sign of worn rings.....
