Would this offset (38) on 15" alloys be suitable for an Astra? They are too wide for my Corsa and got them from someone who said they were on his astra

Strictly you should be running an offset as near to et49 as possible, saying that i know an et38 will fit a mk3 & mk4 astra or a nova (arches need to be rolled), hope this helps

iv got et 35 on me Corsa so dont see how 38's will be different as theres more clearence with an astra as well, unless its lowered and its a m3(F)?

Inthe strictest sense, they do fit. They have the right bolt sizing. But corsa's really want 49mm offset, but just becuase the wheels dont' have that offset doesn't mean they won't fit.

You can find alsorts of offsets on various corsa's as mentioned above.

What I meant was could they have come from an Astra. I took them to a garage to get the tyres checked and the guy said because they are sticking out of the arches they will fail an MOT. My car isn't lowered.

Isn't it illegal to have them sticking out?
