Hia guys,
On my engine loom I have a red cable which needs to be tapped into an ignition live, my problem is I'm not sure where to find an ignition live cable already in my engine bay.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?

This plug needs to be hooked onto the ignition live:
The ignition live on the Corsa is either the red or the black wire in your drivers footwell. You use one and tape the other up or use it for some neons 
I ran a wire round from the footwell the the plug, I soildered on the male half of the plug off of the old starter motor loom to do a proper job. Though you can just slice the plug off and sooilder them together.

theres a grey plug at the front of the car on the right hand side (as you look at the car) its on a bracket attached to chassis leg.

i think its for foglights but i know the lad that does the wiring on mine and everybody elses uses this plug.

ed near your positive battery terminal you have a single pin socket, what is pluged into it?

that single pin plug is the ignition live. i wouldnt tee and ignition love into a red. always into an ignition live, aka black.
as ed says, join that one by battery into the one in the footwell. you could use one in the engine bay but i could never find one so got bored and ran it ino the car
