rite i have a slight problem
i'm gonna run a two amp set up with a 15 inch sub and power cap.
my mate wired his up he has the same as me and his battery kept goin flat due to the amps not shuttin off.
he took it to our local ice mand and he said that its something to do with the corsa and relays have to be added.
is this true and has anyone else had any problems heres my install.

Generally speaking, you can normaly get away with turning on 2 amps from the h/u's remote output.. Otherwise, its best to use 1 relay, for every 2 amps you are turning on...
Relay's don't cost much, I think Maplin's do them for approx £1-2.. but make sure you use insulated spade terminals!! Don't cut corners, it's not worth it!

On the relay:
85 to the head unit remote output
86 to a good earth
30 to a fused 12v supply
87 to the amps remote input.

I don't know if it will stop your battery going flat.. as that may not be the cause of the problem.. but I garuntee that using the relay will safely turn your amps on & off, as per the headunit output.

From the Battery +ve to the +ve of the cap (fused of course).. then from the +ve of the cap to the +ve of the amp..
The -ve of the cap needs to be connected to a seperate ground point than the amp.
Don't forget to follow the cap's manufacturers instructions as to charging the cap, before connecting it, or you'll see some sparks!
Personally though, I wouldn't bother with a cap... do a search on TalkAudio...

Yes, you should have 2 wires coming out of pin 87... one of them going to one amp, and one to the other amp.
