me and my mate have tried everything on his corsa to solve this problem. just wondering would any of u lot know what to do.
when he brakes the caliper catches the inside of the wheel, he has V6 brakes and 17's. it is scrapping the inside of the alloy. but he said it only happens when he brakes, he can feel it through the steering wheel. i know when u brake the caliper should go towards the wheel a little. but not hit it.
ran out of ideas what to try

well we had a new wheel bearing put in, but it was fine for a week, but now its making a clunck. its defo catching on the inside wheel, marks everywhere. all bolts r tight, ones which hold calpier on to hub, and one to hold pads in. just REALLY REALLY weird. plus when on full lock right it does it to, occasianally tho. just stripped it down for him tonight to have another look, everything looks in the right space
more ideas ppl. i dont want to grind anything yet, as it wasnt doing it before.

if the wheel baring was faulty the wheel would be wobbling around and not be true... the caliper is fixed so it cant be at fault...

Take the wheel off the car and remove the dust cover (if fitted) from the centre of the brake disc. This will reveal a castleated nut. There should be a split pin through this nut. Remove the pin and check that nut for tightness. If this is loose you will have the problem you have mentioned earlier. Once tight use o new split pin and replace cover with a new one becuase you will damage the old old getting it off and bolt up the wheel.
Is it only one side? If so then i would be sure that this is his problem. The mechanic who did the wheel bearing should have had to tighten this up when rebuilding the suspension after the wheel bearing was replaced.
