You know the black sound deadning stuff under the carpet how do you get it out what is it likely to leave afterwards?? interior needing painted, im sure broster and co will have some input on this

lol, finally fell for the bug yeah! basically best way is to get some wall paper scrapers, a heat gun a screwdriver white spirits and some rag, heat it up the just peal it off with wall paper scrapers and screwdrivers, then when you have the bulk of t off rub white spirits onto it and itll come up clean.

if the matting is brittle try and remove the most of it before heating it up, can work better.... ask me on msn if your unsure...

heatgun option is best i think, takes about 1/3 of the time, floor will probably need painting though, cos the finish under the tar can be slightly different and look funny

been hard at work on it today here some pics it is coming of but not very quickly!!

think il be putting Dynamatt down after its painted, taken me ages to get the tar off the floor, just smoothed the rear plastics so gona sound deaden the lot with Xtream il keep the rear seats out and the Naked painted floor and just a Cage and thats it
