Hi guys and girls
right here we go, I have a alpine 9855r hu which im planing on adding a pair of alpine SXS-1757 speakers in the front. Im not having any amps at the moment and i dont want 6x9's on the pacel shelf. So would it be ok to put the same speakers in the rear as the front but 130mm ones this includes two more tweaters tho! or am i just being silly putting tweaters in the rear???
Also if it would be ok can i just cut in the rear speaker wire and add a little length for the tweaters or would I have to run a hole new wire just for the tweaters?
Front speakers
Rear speakers
Cheers Derek

let me know which ones your putting in and what size. i'de decided to do the same. i've got 6x9's in at the moment but i don't wnat the extra weight of the parcel shelf or the extra noise when i go over dips and bumps

the rear speakers arent 13cm, i dont think and why are you putting tweeters in the rear ??
yes you could extend the old wire to the new speakers but its better to run new thicker wire from head unit
