Right I'm still on dial up at home!!

Whats the best broadband company to go for? Gonna be downloading a few things a month too!!

www.plus.net has been recomended from a mate at work, any more.

Avoid PlusNet...like the plague...totally...believe me!

If you don't believe me, check out the recent bad feedback on here......since they've become a PLC, instead of a LTD, it looks like they've started to think about the happiness of their shareholders more than the happiness of their customers.

Have a look at the "List" and "Compare" links on the above site, and you should be able to choose an ISP that suits your needs (ie. one without harsh limits/caps/fair-usage-policies, if you're going to be downloading a sizeable amount).

And have a read through the various (many) forums on the "Message Boards" on there, for info on whichever ISPs you get down to a shortlist...

im with virgin 14.99 for 512k 3mb but you dont have to have a contract so you can cut off when you like

go with telewest (blueyonder) as they ave just upgraded 1 meg to 4 meg 3 of charge unlimited downloads cant go wrong??

Telewest have a deal just now digital and broadband £15 a month. Think Im going to get that in my new house
