I've updated from xp home to xp pro but now i've got no sound. I went to add new hardware and it said:
Aztech2320 compatible PnP Audio
This devide cannot start (Code 10)
Is this why the sound isn't working? How do i get sound? Thanks

The digitally signed driver doesnt work with that chipset, you need to get it from the mobo manufacturer for your mobo chipset.

Did you upgrade or do a clean install?

I'd assume a fresh install, as you didn't used to be able to simply upgrade Home to Pro like you can 98 to XP. Maybe the newer versions you can. Either way, look in the website for your motherboard's manufacturer and find the sound drivers just like Ally said.

Yeah it was a clean install. I think that there is no drivers for the soundcard to work on xp pro

Driverwise, XP Pro and Home are the same more or less.
