Have uesd the search but can find any find any, i take its not an easy conversion then?
just that my sisters boyfriend has a cav 2000gsi and its a bit rotten. i could have the car for stripping cheap, and was wondering if anyone has put the 2.0 in a corsa c 1.4 sri.
any got any experience or knowlegde on this.

I have heard that it can be a pain because all the electric the C's run through the ECU. To do a conversion like this i believe you need to run 2 ECU's
EDIT: one ECU for all the electronics (lights, mirrors, eectric windows etc) and one for the engine itself

Woudlnt bother, yourll ruin your nice newish corsa mate, save up, and buy a 2l corsa b aswell pick one up cheap

^^ agreed - probably best sticking with a the newer 1.4 engine rather than messing around with the older less reliable 2.0 and ruining your car
also take into account all the niggly little problems that people have with such transplants into a corsa b (even tho they have a more suitable wiring loom/setup). Have a search for something like c20xe problems or something along these lines
