My car goes for mot in 2 weeks time.
What things does it check for?
Anybody got a list, I know of 2 things I need to do but its just so I can check everything else just now to see if anything needs adjusted or renewed

rust, all brakes are ok
exhaust isnt blowing
all doors open and shut properly
emissions< you cant test this unless you have a reader
no play in the steering anywhere from coloum to wheels
bearing cv's and all rubber boots intact
all tyres are good no cuts or splits
all lights work
probably more but thats just off the top of my head

winscreen cant be cracked or chipped in drivers view

Are the brake lines checked do u know? Or just the brake pads etc?

Yes, they will be checked for corrosion etc.

i went over it karen when you came down it will need both front to rear barke pipes if i remeber correcly all welding had been done from what i could see
