Is it just one wire you need going from the head unit to the changer, and is this a wire that can be bought from halfords or somewhere like that? Cheers

What headunit, and what changer?

depends on the makes if it is one wire or not, and halfords sell most, but some are order only.

Just found this topic again, i'm gonna fit my cd changer this week...my sounds are kenwood, is it just a case of gettin the cable from halfords and wiring it up to the head unit? Cheers

kenwood use 1 cable from what i can remeber its 13 pin plug i think there £30-40 in halfords you can pick them up on ebay for £10-25 new

oh nearly forgot about this place.........

there you go a 5 meter cable for £20 quid

word of warning tho dont get a clarion cable thay looks the same and have the same plugs but are wired different !!!!

i was a kenwood man myself up till last year when i changed over to alpine.
